ANDY WATSON BECOMES DIRECTOR IN JORDANS’ CONVEYANCING OPERATIONS

Andy Watson has been promoted to Director of Operations and Development in the conveyancing services department at Jordans, one of the UK‘s largest providers of property searches to conveyancing professionals.

An experienced professional in the property market, he joined Jordans‘ conveyancing operation a year ago as head of commercial development, managing the company‘s UK sales team and its provision of NLIS and HIP services.

In this newly established role he will be responsible for developing the customer services infrastructure, including new product development and process and delivery improvement, as well as managing the operations, helpdesk and marketing team.  

Prior to joining Jordans, Mr Watson spent two years as a regional sales manager with Landmark Information Group, heading up its sales and account management teams in the legal and financial business department.

Mr Watson has also spent more than a decade with the Ordnance Survey, joining as a senior surveyor in 1994 and being promoted through a variety of positions until he became head of commercial partnerships in 2002, where he was responsible for delivering 15 per cent of digital revenues.

“I am excited by this new role and am totally focused on delivering challenging revenue requirements in what are increasingly challenging market conditions,” he said.
