BATH UNI STUDENTS GET HELPING HAND FROM DELOITTE

Staff from leading business advisory firm Deloitte have gone back to college to help prepare the next generation of entrepreneurs.

Deloitte is among the headline sponsors for a special event at Bath University and are acting as mentors for students. 

They are hosting a finance workshop and advising students taking part in a competition to produce successful business plans.

The help will involve a presentation slide show and the coaching of basic financial techniques, including the importance of budgeting correctly and analysis of cash flow. 

Michael White, of Deloitte‘s audit practice in Bristol, said the firm was pleased to be encouraging students who could have the potential to become the successful business leaders of tomorrow.

“It is vital to ensure that the basics are right and this is a good stage at which to bring the professionals and the students together,” he said.
