INTEGRAL APPOINTS A NEW SOUTH EAST MANAGER TO SUPPORT PLANS TO DOUBLE ITS PROJECT WORKLOAD

Integral, the UK‘s largest independently owned national property maintenance company, plans to double the size of its project management business as a result of customer demand, spanning refurbishments and refits for commercial buildings.

As part of the plan, Integral has appointed a new project manager for London and the South East.  David Smith joins Integral after more than 29 years experience in heading property project management.

Integral‘s Project Management operation is already a national leader in serving such clients as Land Securities, Jones Lang LaSalle, and CBRE to provide full office refits, boiler refurbishments, chiller and air-handling changes, and a wide range of mechanical, fabric, and electrical projects.

According to Integral‘s Managing Director, Bryan Glastonbury:  “The continued growth of our comprehensive range of maintenance services has prompted clients to view Integral as a ‘one-stop-shop‘ for all their property needs.  This requires that we reinforce our nationwide project management capability – especially in London and the South East.

“David‘s appointment is part of a plan to double the size of our project management services to match the growth of our total property maintenance services, from £80 million in 2003 to almost £150 million in 2007”, said Mr Glastonbury.

Integral‘s project management division provides a complete turnkey solution, spanning such fabric work as partitioning, raised floors, and suspended ceilings;  decorating and floor finishes;  control systems for heating, ventilation, lighting, fire prevention; and interior fit-out.

ENDS             27th February 2008
