Deloitte Announces Sale of Paignton-Based Window Company

The joint administrators of Interframe Ltd., Richard Hawes and Bill Dawson of Deloitte, have announced the sale of the company‘s business and assets.

Interframe, which turns over around £30 million a year, manufactures uPVC frames for windows, doors and conservatories and operates six trade counters, which have also been sold as a going concern to Interframe (South West) Ltd., an associate of Solar Windows Ltd., for an undisclosed amount.

The joint administrators were appointed over Interframe Ltd. on 28th January, and have continued to trade the business while negotiations for a sale were conducted. 

Richard Hawes, reorganisation services partner at Deloitte in Bristol, said: “We are pleased to announce that all 144 jobs will be transferred to the new owners.

“Customers, suppliers and employees of the company have been extremely supportive during the period of administration trading. This successful outcome is a testament to the hard work of the workforce and our team under very difficult circumstances.”
