DELOITTE APPOINTED ADMINISTRATORS AT PAIGNTON-BASED INTERFRAME LTD.

Paignton-based window company Interframe Ltd. has gone into administration.

The firm, which employs 148 people at its Aspen Way site plus a further 200 in Manchester, manufactures uPVC frames for windows, doors and conservatories.

Interframe, which turns over around £10 million a year, also operates several trade counters across southern England.

Richard Hawes, reorganisation services partner at administrators Deloitte in Bristol, said the company would continue to trade while attempts were made to find a buyer.

He said: “Interframe has traded for around 20 years and has an excellent reputation for quality. The company has been growing during the past year despite difficult market conditions, and we are very hopeful of finding a buyer.”
