THE CONSORTIUM LAUNCHES REFURBISHMENT AND NEW BUILD SERVICE

The Consortium, the award-winning national procurement and fulfilment company, has launched a service to support any care home or establishment undergoing refurbishment or extension of its facilities.

The Consortium already arranges and manages contracts with key care suppliers, and the new build and refurbishment service is something the company has offered on a small scale, ad hoc basis to help customers as they undergo a period of change. 

The Consortium‘s key account managers can manage the ordering and delivery of everything from beds, curtains and fire safety equipment to bariatric furniture and cleaning utensils, while arranging supplier contracts and handling all the detail and administration associated with a refurbishment or opening of a new facility.

Melanie Teal, The Consortium‘s Chief Executive says: “As a result of excellent customer feedback and growing demand, we are now officially launching this service, allocating staff time and resources and promoting it to all of our customers.

“Our team can manage the entire process; equipping new facilities and setting up and managing service contracts. In our experience, care management staff may not have the resources to manage the extra work arising from such a project – which is where we can help.
