INTEGRAL WINS AWARD FOR LIVERPOOL HOUSING TRUST CONTRACT

Bootle-based Integral Housing has won an award for its repair and maintenance services provided to Liverpool Housing Trust (LHT).

Integral Housing Services is part of Integral, the UK‘s largest independently owned property maintenance provider.  The division has been providing property maintenance and repair services to local authorities and housing associations in the Merseyside area for more than a decade.

LHT conducts regular appraisals of all of its contractors.  Those who provide more than £20,000 worth of services over the year take part in the appraisal at a scheduled meeting, while businesses providing goods and services of a lower annual value take part in a document review.

Ian Jones, Integral Housing Services Regional Director says: “LHT is one of our longest held clients.  “We welcome the appraisal process as it provides valuable information for both parties that can be used to support and guide continuous improvement procedures.

“This year‘s result is our best score ever and demonstrates our exceptional attention to detail, quick response time and high standards of customer service.”

The Liverpool Housing Trust appraisal assesses contractors on a range of criteria including performance and quality, quality assurance, technical competence, employee competence, continuous improvement, health and safety, equality & diversity, customer care and environmental management.

Integral Housing Services directly employs over 260 fully skilled operatives, a policy which gives better control and builds stronger loyalty and commitment than could otherwise be delivered by a higher ratio of sub contracted staff.
