JORDANS ANNOUNCES SALE OF GIBRALTAR OPERATIONS TO STM GROUP PLC

Jordans Limited, the leading international trust and corporate services provider, has announced the sale of its portfolio of Gibraltar companies to Bellwether Corporate Services Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the STM Group plc. 

STM‘s operations date back to the early 1990s and the company has one of the largest corporate and fiduciary management teams in Gibraltar. 

The decision to sell follows a detailed and strategic review of Jordans' international operations which sees the closure of the Gibraltar office in order to concentrate on developing its international operations in the UK, British Virgin Islands, Jersey, Cyprus and the newly-opened Seychelles office.

Commenting on the transaction, Nick Rees, Chief Executive of Jordans Limited, said: “We are pleased to have reached agreement with Bellwether for them to take over the administration of our portfolio of Gibraltar registered companies. 

“We have had a long and co-operative relationship with the principals of STM Group and we are confident that they will provide our clients with the same level of service that they have enjoyed to date.”

Two of Jordans‘ administration staff in Gibraltar join the STM Group, thereby  assuring continuity of service to clients. Non-Gibraltar client companies administered by Jordans (Gibraltar) Limited will be transferred to other Jordans offices, while Evia Soussi, Director of Jordans (Gibraltar) Limited, is relocating back to Jordans‘ head office in Bristol to re-join the international team.
