Integral employees can now save up to £1,196 per year
More than 2,400 employees of Bristol-based Integral, the UK‘s biggest independent national provider of property maintenance services, are being offered access to reduced costs for child-care.
Integral has contracted with the Busy Bees organisation to offer Government-backed childcare vouchers, enabling the company‘s parent employees to save up to £1,196 per year on childcare costs.
The Company has added the childcare voucher scheme to its benefits, providing employees with the option to convert part of their salary to secure valuable tax and national insurance savings.
This follows on from the successful introduction of a subsistence allowance scheme last year for its mobile workforce which also realised tax and national insurance savings.
According to Martin Forbes, Integral‘s HR Director, “Childcare vouchers, approved by the government are exempt from both tax and national insurance contributions. By exchanging part of their salary for these vouchers parents can make significant savings on the cost of their registered childcare which can include nurseries, child-minders, nannies, au pairs, pre-school facilities, after school clubs and school holiday schemes”.
“Childcare costs are a significant chunk of many people‘s outgoings. For someone earning less than £39,000 and paying £243 per month for childcare, the voucher scheme offers an annual saving of almost £1,000”, said Mr Forbes.
“Like other national employers, we recognise the fact that many of our staff have parental responsibilities, and the high costs that go with that. Having decided to engage with the government‘s childcare voucher scheme, we undertook detailed research before choosing Busy Bees as our provider”, he added.
Fast growing Integral now employs more than 2,400 people in 15 locations throughout the country, including the UK‘s largest fleet of 1,000 nationwide mobile technicians.
