THE CONSORTIUM LAUNCHES INTO EARLY YEARS

Leading schools supplier, The Consortium, is launching a new service specifically for the Early Years (0-5 years) sector.

With 400 pages featuring over 4000 products, the first edition of the new Early Years catalogue will be officially launched at The Childcare and Nursery Show in Bournemouth on 27-28 June. It will be mailed simultaneously to over 20,000 early years settings throughout the UK.

The Consortium is an award-winning national procurement and fulfilment company based in Trowbridge, Wiltshire. With over 30 years trading experience, it has built a strong reputation for delivering a high quality, customer focused service, whilst operating to exacting service standards in supplying education and care sector customers.

The launch into the Early Years market follows considerable market research and builds on the success of the company‘s Primary Catalogue which currently serves the pre-school market.

The new catalogue is designed to meet the specific needs of those working in the Early Years sector, complete with bright, vibrant and informal branding separating it from other catalogues offered by The Consortium.

Melanie Teal, Chief Executive of The Consortium says: “We already work very closely with the primary school end of the market and have a good understanding of the challenges facing those working in the education and childcare sectors today.”

“With that in mind, we believe that The Consortium is unique in offering Early Years establishments a convenient ‘one-stop-shop‘, with a wide range of products from craft materials, nursery play equipment, cleaning materials, fire prevention equipment and catering supplies right through to office furniture and stationery. “

“Our buying made easy promise is one of the reasons that our customers vote us number one. The fact that we can deliver next day for free, for orders over £30, makes their busy working life easy too!”

Many of The Consortium‘s existing education customers have diversified into Early Years provision in recent years as demand for childcare increases.  Products in the new Early Years catalogue have been specifically selected to serve their needs, as well as providing new customers with a quick and easy way to buy everything their establishment requires.

The new catalogue can be accessed online by visiting www.earlyyears.co.uk from 25th June.

Alternatively customers can call 08451 99 99 55 from 25th June to order their copy. Orders can be placed online at www.theconsortium.co.uk, over the phone, by mail or via fax.
