Schools furniture supplier Factory Fastlines has won The Consortium‘s annual Educational Supplier of the Year Award.
London-based Factory Fastlines is the fourth company to be recognised from among the national procurement and fulfilment company‘s education suppliers.
This year an additional award was given to Cicada Educational Equipment Ltd., which supplies early years and curriculum products.
The Consortium‘s 2007/8 education catalogue has over 1,000 new products and more than 1,100 pages, offering everything from arts and craft materials and curriculum teaching aids, to sports equipment and school furniture.
Melanie Teal, chief executive at The Consortium, says: “Maintaining a good relationship with our suppliers is obviously key to our business, and we look to recognise companies that can be an asset to our own business and support our growth.”
Mr Ashley Mooney, Marketing and Commercial Sales Director, Factory Fastlines commented: “We would like to thank the Consortium for undertaking a supplier of the year award, this enabled Factory Fastlines Ltd to demonstrable our total commitment to customer service.
“To win the supplier of the year award encapsulates our dramatic organisational changes to become more efficient and customer focused, reaping the benefits of best practice. Factory Fastlines Ltd are very proud to have won this award and will strive to promote our products and services in meeting customers aspirations now enhanced by wining such a prestigious award.”
Colin and Janet Eastwood, Cicada Educational Equipment Ltd Joint Managing Directors added: “We were delighted to receive the award on behalf of all of our staff as it shows customer recognition for all the hard work they have put into the last year.”
