Trained nurse and ex-Armed Forces officer to play “vital part” in private hospital‘s plans
The South West‘s leading private hospital has appointed a new business development manager.
Qualified nurse Samantha Scott joins Spire Bristol Hospital from The Harley Medical Group where she held a similarly senior role in business development and was responsible for nine clinics across the UK and Ireland.
As well as working in the NHS Miss Scott spent six years both home and abroad in HM Forces as a captain in theQueen Alexandra Royal Army Nursing Corps.
“Although I enjoyed my time working for The Harley Medical Group I felt I had achieved most of what I set out to and that the time was right for a change,” she said. “Spire Bristol Hospital is the perfect new challenge for me and I am fully focused on building on the good relationships we have with patients, GP groups, consultants and the NHS.”
Rob Anderson, Director at Spire Bristol Hospital, said: “Sam is a tenacious and confident achiever and I have no doubts whatsoever that she will play a vital part in our ongoing plans to maintain and improve this hospital‘s reputation as one of the top destinations in the country for private healthcare whilst at the same time building on our strong partnership credentials with the NHS.”
End.
