VISTAIR APPOINTS SALES & MARKETING DIRECTOR

RECRUITMENT ADVISER GRABS THE JOB!

Vistair, the UK provider of cloud-based safety reporting and e-manuals services to airlines, has appointed a Sales & Marketing Director.

David Shieldhouse joins Vistair, having built a career in executive recruitment to the software industry.

Having expanded to become one of the world‘s leading providers of cloud-based safety management and flight-operations manual services to global airlines and military users, Vistair has now grown to the point when it needs to appoint a Sales & Marketing Director.

According to Vistair‘s founding Managing Director, Ian Herbert: “Until now I have dealt with every sales enquiry. My greatest passion is in developing and refining the new-technology solutions that Vistair is creating for airlines and air-operators, so I needed someone to take over the role of handling the growing number of enquiries for our services.

“David is ideally placed to undertake that task, as he is sensitive to the differing requirements of our airline customers, and has a comprehensive understanding of the importance of online communications and the modern cloud-based world”, said Mr Herbert.

Commenting on his new appointment, David Shieldhouse said: “My career has focused on recruiting senior people to jobs in software-based businesses:  I have never encountered a software company with the growth potential of Vistair, and when they asked me to help recruit a Sales & Marketing director, it was so exciting that I decided that this was the job for me.”

Bristol-based Vistair‘s clients include such names as British Airways, BMI, DHL, Aer Lingus, Flybe, Ryanair, easyJet, Thomas Cook, Flydubai, the Ministry of Defence, Jet2.com, Netjets, and TAG Aviation.
