CLIFTON ASSET MANAGEMENT STRIKES GOLD WITH IIP AWARD

CAM is among the 1 per cent of Investors in People companies to achieve Gold status

Bristol-based Clifton Asset Management (CAM) has joined the select group of firms which have secured the coveted Investors in People Gold status.

The company, which employs 70 people and provides financial and strategic advice to small and medium-sized businesses, received the news recently after undergoing a rigorous assessment process.

CAM was assessed on 10 categories covering every facet of the business including its management and training strategy, and recognition and reward of employees.

“Recognising Excellence, the organisation which carries out the assessments and makes the awards, have around 2,000 clients in the South West, of which only 15 have achieved Gold status,” said CAM chairman Adam Tavener.

“And of all those businesses that go for IIP status across the country, only
1 per cent are awarded either bronze, silver or gold status, which emphasises the scale of this achievement.”

HR and facilities manager Vanessa Scaife, who co-ordinated the IIP process at CAM with operations manager Mark Johnson, added: “There is no doubt that IIP is an effective recruitment tool, as people want to work for accredited companies, and that it has contributed towards our outstanding record of staff retention.”
