FRISKA SET TO SERVE UP A TREAT AT THE PARAGON

Food business will offer hungry Bristol office workers an ethically-sound alternative to generic fast food outlets, according to King Sturge.

A new Bristol healthy fast food business which prides itself on producing ethically and locally-sourced foods has just taken a unit in one of the city‘s most environmentally-friendly office buildings.

Friska has taken the space in the prestigious Cubex Land-built Paragon building in Victoria Street which is one of only a handful in the South West to receive the coveted “BREEAM excellent” rating for its green credentials including low carbon emissions.

Solicitors Thring Townsend has already taken occupation of two floors in the 74,000 sq ft Paragon building, which is jointly marketed by King Sturge and Hartnell Taylor Cook.

Peter Walford, Director at Cubex Land, said he was delighted that a company like Friska which shared the Paragon‘s environmentally-aware aims had decided to set up there, adding there were still two retail/restaurant units available.

“It‘s very appropriate that Friska has chosen to join us at the Paragon because the ethical processes which go into their business plan are very much in keeping with the spirit of the development, being of top quality but at the same time environmentally-conscious.

“I‘m sure they will be a great addition not only to the Paragon, but to the whole area.”

James Woodard, Associate and retail specialist at King Sturge‘s Bristol office, agreed, saying: “Recently we have all learned the consequences our food choices have, not just to our health but to the local economy.

“Friska is an exciting new brand because its ethical business model includes sourcing local, seasonal ingredients which gives us all another option alongside the more generic convenience food outlets which you can find in any town or city in the country.”

He added: “I‘m sure this new offering will prove to be a popular food option for the huge numbers of nearby office workers as well as those heading into the city from Temple Meads.”
