INTEGRAL WINS ENVIRONMENT AGENCY WALES M&E CONTRACT

Four-year deal builds on company‘s existing relationship with EAW

Fast-growing property and facilities maintenance specialist Integral has won a prestigious new contract with Environment Agency Wales.

The four-year deal will see Integral‘s engineers carry out full M&E maintenance on more than 500 of the Agency‘s flood defence assets, including its pumping stations, river cableways, sluice gates and offices and depots across Wales.

Jim Healan, Branch Manager of Integral‘s Cardiff office, said: “We already work with Environment Agency Wales providing the organisation‘s building, heating and ventilation maintenance, and this new contract is an important endorsement of the quality of our work and cements our excellent working relationship with this client.

“An organisation like the Agency has, by its nature, a very high public profile and has to be confident that its mechanical and electrical systems are being looked after properly and kept in tip top condition.

“At Integral we pride ourselves on delivering the very best services but without cutting corners whatsoever, meaning the client can be rest assured they are in safe hands and receiving excellent value for money.”

As well as routine maintenance Integral will be on call 24/7 to carry out emergency repairs for the Agency.

Bryan Glastonbury, Integral‘s Managing Director, said: “Like all public sector organisations Environment Agency Wales has to be able to prove it is watching its costs while at the same time providing the kinds of services people expect.

“This thinking perfectly mirrors Integral‘s own corporate ethos, which is to put the customer at the very heart of what we do and which has led us to our position as the market leaders when it comes to our client retention levels, currently running at 87 per cent.”
