EDEN AWARDS CONTRACT TO INTEGRAL HOUSING SERVICES

Value for money bid seals deal for property maintenance company

A housing association which provides over 1,500 affordable rental and shared ownership homes across Cumbria has awarded its gas service and repair contract to Integral‘s Housing Services Division.

Penrith-based Eden Housing Association, which offers accommodation in the Allerdale, Carlisle and Eden districts, provides a range of housing and other services for young single people, couples, families and older persons as well as the homeless and those needing specialist support in the community.

The three-year gas service and repair deal with the Housing Services Division of Integral, the UK‘s leading and fastest-growing independent supplier of comprehensive property maintenance services, is in addition to the responsive repair and void inspection contract already in place.

Integral‘s Managing Director, Bryan Glastonbury, said: “Eden Housing Association is well-known in the Cumbria area for the excellent work it carries out supporting the sustainability of the rural communities there.

“Because of the nature of the work Eden Housing Association carries out there they are always going to be looking for the best deal it can find, and Integral was able to demonstrate its ability to provide the very best in value for money but without cutting any corners or compromising the quality of the work.

“Together with a collaborative partnership with Barrow Borough Council to provide a similar service this contract award reinforces Integral‘s commitment to the local community and wider area.”
