HASSLE-FREE SERVICE FOR SCHOOLS LAUNCHED BY THE CONSORTIUM

Studentpacks are part of innovative offering in company‘s latest Art & Craft catalogue

The UK‘s leading independent supplier of resources to the education sector is offering students and their families a hassle-free service to help them complete their studies and save cash at the same time.

Working in collaboration with schools and teachers The Consortium has launched Studentpacks, consisting of two pre-selected product packs designed to offer Art A level, GCSE and Diploma students quality products at affordable prices.

It is just one of a number of initiatives for schools contained in the latest Art & Craft catalogue from award-winning The Consortium.

Melanie Teal, the company‘s Chief Executive, said the catalogue‘s contents were the result of extensive consultation with schools.

“We understand how important it is to have access to the right resources,” she said, “and have undertaken research with our customers to find out how we could further improve our Art & Craft range, with the result that over 100 new products have been placed in the catalogue, with many more on our company website.”

Melanie Teal said that as a reflection of the current economic climate and to help schools reduce their costs, the company had for the first time introduced a special budget range as part of their commitment to help school budgets go further.

She added that the Studentpacks were also designed with costs in mind and offered savings on high street alternatives.

“We believe we have come up with an essential and cost-saving solution for students and their families in the shape of our Studentpacks,” said Melanie Teale.

“Although Studentpacks are designed with A level, GCSE and Diploma students in mind customers can also ‘customise‘ their own packs to reflect specific educational and basic stationery needs.”

Melanie Teal added: “Our aim is to provide our customers with as wide a range of items as possible to help them inspire their students and support them to discover their creative ambitions, all backed by The Consortium‘s ‘buying made easy‘ ethos.”
