Early years at home launched following customer feedback

Award-winning The Consortium, the UK‘s largest independent provider of educational resources, has launched a brand new online service for parents of young children and early years practitioners.

The new service, called early years at home from The Consortium, has been designed to allow those with early years children in their care to buy all their resources from one place, giving them more time to spend with the children.

Melanie Teal, Chief Executive at The Consortium, said: “We understand that providing for and educating the children in your care requires an enormous amount of time, energy and dedication.

“Whether it is products and ideas to help implement the Early Years Foundation Stage, or essentials to help maintain your premises as a safe and effective learning environment, early years at home from The Consortium can help with new products and ideas being added every month.”

She added that The Consortium, which already has a specialised early years service, launched early years at home after listening to customer feedback.

“The message we were getting was that customers wanted a service dedicated to providing resources, ideas and support to childminders, sessional settings and parents who are caring for, and educating under fives,” she said.

The Consortium has been providing schools and colleges with the supplies and services they require to operate for almost 40 years and has also branched out into the care sector with great success.
