New director of cricket John Bracewell among guests at Clarke Willmott event
Leading law firm Clarke Willmott hosted a drinks reception in their Bristol office for players and board members of Gloucestershire County Cricket Club.
The new season starts on 15 April and the event held in Clarke Willmott‘s Georges Square offices gave the firm, along with local business leaders, the chance to toast the club and wish it well for the coming months.
The evening had a special air of excitement as newly installed director of cricket, John Bracewell, fresh from coaching the New Zealand test side - who has pledged to bring the good times back to the club - was also able to attend.
As well as rubbing shoulders with the players, Clarke Willmott‘s lawyers and guests were able to learn more about the club‘s plans and ambitions for the future during a question and answer session.
Roger Seaton, head of Bristol‘s Clarke Willmott office, said the evening had been a great success, with the opportunity for local businesses to network in an informal setting.
“The news that John Bracewell is back for his second stint at Gloucestershire is a tremendous boost for everyone involved at the club. We were very pleased that he could attend last night.”
Clarke Willmott‘s Bristol office is staffed by 250 lawyers and support staff and provides a full corporate and commercial support service to businesses across the region, as well as nationally.
Mr Seaton added: “We wish Gloucestershire County Cricket Club all the best for the coming season and look forward to working further with them for a long time to come.”
